Adam B. Kaufman

Adam B. Kaufman represents clients in company formations, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, international transactions, licensing and distribution, trademarks, commercial and residential real estate matters, commercial litigation, and wills, trusts and estate administration.

Additionally, he serves as “outside general counsel” to business clients ranging in size from small startups to large, established enterprises which are located throughout the United States and abroad.

In 1989, Adam graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society and the Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor society. After graduating from the UCLA School of Law in 1994, he began his legal career in the project finance department of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where he represented the Export-Import Bank of the United States and various power plant and infrastructure developers in international transactions. Adam then became associated with Morrison Cohen Singer & Weinstein, LLP, where he worked in the corporate law department. While at that firm, Adam represented numerous clients in various capacities, such as Goldman, Sachs & Co. in public stock offerings, the J.H. Whitney venture capital group in equity transactions, and Genovese Drug Stores in retail store acquisitions. In early 1999, Adam formed Kaufman & Satran, LLP with Robert I. Satran, a commercial litigator.

In April 2003, Adam formed Adam B. Kaufman & Associates, PLLC, where he is the managing member.

Adam resides in Woodmere, New York with his wife Shari, their children and a new grandchild. During his spare time, Adam enjoys playing guitar and singing with friends around the campfire.

Dalia Tetelman

Dalia Tetelman represents clients in various matters, such as the purchase and sale of businesses and professional practices, licensing and distribution agreements, medical practice management agreements, commercial real estate transactions and wills, trusts and estate administration.

In 1993, Dalia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in French from CUNY Queens College. After receiving her JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1996, Dalia began her legal career in the real estate department of Borah, Goldstein Altschuler, Nahins & Goidel PC, where she represented various New York city co-op and condominium boards, as well as sellers and purchasers in residential and commercial real estate transactions.

In 2002, Dalia formed her own practice in Woodmere, New York, where she represented individuals and companies in real estate transactions, corporate transactions, landlord/tenant disputes and estate matters.

In March 2019, Dalia joined Adam B. Kaufman & Associates, PLLC, in March 2019 where she works alongside the founder, Adam.

Dalia was born in Lithuania, grew up in Israel and moved to the United States while in her teens. She speaks Hebrew, Russian and French. When not practicing law, Dalia enjoys teaching and practicing yoga. She currently resides in Hewlett, New York with her husband, their four children and their chocolate Labrador, Apollo.
